iPod Fails…Coincidence?

iPod Down!Now this is what I call planned obsolescence!

Just after I watched the guided tour of the iPod Touch, this happens o.o;; Well, with only 16 GB of storage, I’m not satisfied. Heck, I’m struggling with 20 GB on this one already!

Well, at least I know I’m not the only one whining about the storage capacity. With the new iPod Touch has many great features but I’m really turned off with only either 8GB or 16 GB of storage. Right now, despite the lack of the newer features the iPod Classic (which has 80 GB and 160 GB versions) seems like the way to go. Either way, using the iPod Touch screen would probably get the screen all smudgy after some use between wipes. I think I’m beginning to sour grape. o.o;;

Fortunately for me, I don’t have to part with my 20 GB iPod just yet. A hard reset did the job and will still function. This cute little icon may haunt someday in the future until my the hard drive gets replaced or until the battery issue pops up.

Hmm…the current split between iPod Touch and the iPod Classic (and possibly between the other iPods?) reminds me of something…Oh yeah! I think it starts with a ‘V’ and ends with an ‘ista’.

Fact: Although this is the only model iPod I ever owned (fourth generation, click wheel with monochrome display – released July 2004), this isn’t actually my first! The first one was replaced by Apple for free (covered by warranty) when the hard drive completely failed.
